Torrence Lee Howell is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995. His license is currently in active status. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout Southern California, including the counties of San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange.
Mr. Howell earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne College of Law in 1995. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of La Verne, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He also obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of La Verne in 1992. During his time at the University of La Verne, he developed a strong foundation in both legal and business principles, which has been instrumental in his legal career.
Mr. Howell concentrates his practice in the areas of family law and business law. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving divorce, child custody and support, domestic violence, spousal support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and business disputes. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Throughout his career, Mr. Howell has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Bernardino, the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the Superior Court of California for the County of Riverside, and the Superior Court of California for the County of Orange. He has also appeared before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Upland for several years.
Mr. Howell is an active member of the San Bernardino County Bar Association and the Western San Bernardino County Bar Association, where he previously served as Treasurer. He is also a member of the State Bar of California and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
