About Neil Robert
Neil Robert Hedtke built an unconventional path to law. He began at the United States Military Academy, where he earned a B.S. in Environmental Engineering in 1992. Years later he returned to the classroom and completed a J.D. at the University of La Verne College of Law in 2010. The combination of technical training and legal study shapes the way he approaches problems.
After law school he qualified to practice in two neighboring states. He is admitted to the bars of California and Arizona. Over the years he has handled matters that require careful analysis of statutes, records and technical reports. His background in engineering often helps when cases turn on scientific or regulatory details.
Hedtke’s career has involved work across a range of matters. He has experience in courtroom proceedings, negotiating settlements and preparing transactional documents. He spends time evaluating evidence and building factual narratives. He also counsels clients on procedural risks and remediation of legal issues. Colleagues describe him as precise in document preparation and deliberate in strategy.
He maintains a presence across Southern California. He keeps offices in Upland, West Covina, Moreno Valley, Arcadia and Apple Valley. Those locations allow him to meet clients in person across multiple jurisdictions. He handles filings and appearances in state courts and deals with the practical logistics that come with multi-office practice.
Outside of case work he has continued to engage with technical topics that intersect with law. His engineering education informs his review of technical reports and permits. It also shapes how he questions experts and frames complex information for judges and juries. He balances technical detail with legal argument so clients can see the implications of evidence and regulation.
As of 2026 he continues to practice law in California and Arizona. He maintains offices in several Inland Empire and Los Angeles-area cities and concentrates his current practice on legal matters in California and Arizona.
