About Tony
Tony Johnson earned his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law before beginning a practice that has alternated between small firm general work and concentrated estate matters. He trained in a classroom environment known for practical skills and then moved into law offices where day-to-day client work shaped his approach. That combination of formal study and hands-on experience has informed how he handles client matters.
He began his legal career in the Midwest. In 2008 he worked at Blaney & Ledin Ltd., where he handled a range of matters for local clients. Two years later he joined Libby Law Office, P.A., serving as a lawyer and expanding his responsibility for client counseling and case management. Those early positions offered exposure to litigation, transactional work and the administrative side of running a practice.
Johnson’s career took a more defined path toward estate planning and administration after several years in private practice. He took a role at Stone Arch Law Office, PLLC in 2022 as an estate planning and administration lawyer. There he shifted his day-to-day work toward wills, trusts and probate administration. He also continued to advise clients on the practical implications of estate decisions, helping families navigate paperwork and court processes when an estate required formal administration.
Outside the courtroom and client meetings, Johnson has participated in professional and business organizations. He has been a member of Metro Marketing Masters since 2009, a group that connects professionals across marketing and related fields. He is also a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and has listed that affiliation since 2016. Johnson is licensed to practice in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, and his background reflects practice in those jurisdictions.
Colleagues describe his work style as steady and procedural; he tends to prioritize clear drafting and attention to administrative detail in estate matters. That approach suits clients who need practical guidance through probate filings, trust administration and the preparation of estate documents. He handles both the paperwork and the client conversations that arise when estates are being settled.
Johnson continues to practice at Stone Arch Law Office, PLLC, where his work centers on estate planning and estate administration for individual clients and families.
