About Tony E.
Tony E. Parada built his academic foundation in criminal justice at Sam Houston State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts. He continued his studies at Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law and received his Juris Doctor. His education combined classroom theory with exposure to courtroom procedure and legal research.
After law school he entered legal practice and now works at The Law Office of Tony E. Parada. He is admitted to practice in Texas and is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to handle matters that begin in state courts as well as appeals that move into the federal appellate system.
Parada maintains memberships in several professional organizations. He belongs to the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. He participates in those groups as a way to stay current on developments in the law and to engage with peers across practice areas.
His background in criminal justice and his legal training inform how he approaches cases. He represents clients in proceedings across Texas and in federal appellate matters before the Fifth Circuit. He works on filings, court appearances and appellate briefs. He also consults on case strategy and procedural matters when clients require guidance through both trial and appellate phases.
Parada’s practice is based at The Law Office of Tony E. Parada, where he handles matters that arise in state and federal courts. He balances advocacy in court with preparation outside of it, drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents as needed. He currently practices at The Law Office of Tony E. Parada, representing clients in matters in Texas and in the Fifth Circuit.
