About Tommy
Tommy Siniard graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in 1977 and earned his J.D. from the same school in 1980. He completed his legal education at a time when the state's courts were handling a range of emerging civil issues. Those years grounded him in Alabama law and prepared him for a practice that would span local and federal forums.
He began his professional career in the mid-1980s. By 1987 he was practicing with Morris, Smith, Siniard, Cloud, Fees and Conchin, P.C., an experience that placed him in active litigation and courtroom settings. In 1992 he became a founding lawyer at Siniard, Timberlake & League, P.C., where he continued to handle client matters across the state. Those decades in group practice sharpened his courtroom poise and his understanding of case preparation.
Siniard has courtroom admission in Alabama and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He holds memberships in several professional organizations that reflect an emphasis on trial work and civil advocacy. These include the Alabama State Bar, the Madison County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, the National Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. His association with those groups has kept him connected to developments in trial procedure and defense and plaintiff-side litigation.
In 2022 he established Siniard Law, LLC and continued practicing under his own firm name. The move to a solo firm followed many years within established partnerships. It also allowed him to manage cases directly and to control the pace and scope of client representation. Over the years he has handled matters that brought him into state courts and the federal district court in northern Alabama.
Colleagues and clients describe a straightforward approach to practice. He favors thorough case assessment and practical courtroom preparation. He remains active in bar and trial lawyer organizations and retains admissions to the state and the federal district court. His current practice at Siniard Law, LLC emphasizes litigation in Alabama courts and in federal court where he maintains his admissions.
