About Todd M.
Todd M. Farrar took a circuitous route from business-school lecture halls to the courtroom. He arrived at law school after earning a B.B.A. in Business and Marketing at Mississippi State University in 2008. The next stop was LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he completed a Juris Doctor and a Graduate Diploma in Civil Law in 2011.
Farrar's legal training began in Louisiana. He gained admission to the Louisiana State Bar in 2011 and to the Mississippi bar the following year. Early in his career he launched his own solo practice, operating as the Law Office of Todd M. Farrar, LLC, where he handled the full range of responsibilities that come with running a small firm.
By 2013 Farrar had joined larger firms. That year he spent time as an associate at a regional practice and later became a partner at Haug, Farrar & Franco, PLLC. The shift from solo practice to partnership altered the scale of his cases and the administrative demands he faced. It also expanded the circle of colleagues and referral sources he works with today.
Beyond day-to-day practice, Farrar has remained active in professional organizations. He holds membership in the American Association for Justice and in the Mississippi Association for Justice, both since 2016. He joined the Jackson County Bar Association and became involved with a local animal shelter group in 2014. His standing with the Mississippi State Bar dates to 2012 and with the Louisiana State Bar to 2011. These affiliations have kept him connected to developments in state law and to peers across two jurisdictions.
Colleagues describe Farrar as an attorney who moves comfortably between the bookkeeping and the courtroom. He has experience managing a private office and contributing as a partner in a multi-lawyer firm. He practices in both Mississippi and Louisiana and draws on his dual-state credentials when advising clients whose matters cross state lines.
He currently practices law in Mississippi and Louisiana at Haug, Farrar & Franco, PLLC, handling cases and advising clients on matters that arise under the laws of those states.
