About Todd
Todd Lindquist earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2005. He entered the legal profession in the years that followed and built a practice grounded in litigation and public agency work. He is licensed to practice in Illinois.
Lindquist’s early career included private practice at Conklin and Conklin, LLC, where he worked as a lawyer in 2008. That period gave him exposure to courtroom procedure and client counseling in a smaller firm setting. In 2010 he moved into public-sector work, serving as a Special Assistant Attorney General for two Illinois agencies: the State Toll Highway Authority and the Department of Transportation. Those posts involved representing state interests in disputes tied to transportation projects and public contracts.
After his time in state service, Lindquist returned to private practice. He served as an associate lawyer at Demidchik Law Office beginning in 2018. The role broadened his litigation experience and deepened his involvement in civil matters. In 2020 he joined Kanoski Bresney as a litigation associate. That position placed him within a regional firm structure with offices across central Illinois, including Bloomington, Springfield, Pekin, Champaign, Rushville, Quincy, Macomb, and Decatur.
Colleagues describe Lindquist as methodical in court preparation and straightforward in client communications. His background in both government representation and private litigation gives him a familiarity with administrative processes and the demands of contested courtroom work. He has handled matters arising from public infrastructure projects and has experience responding to claims involving state entities. He also has managed civil cases in which litigation strategy and procedural timing were important to case outcomes.
Lindquist remains based in Illinois and continues practicing law at Kanoski Bresney. He handles civil litigation and government-related matters across the firm’s central Illinois offices and maintains an active trial practice.
