About Tim
Tim Maxcey has spent decades working in Oklahoma’s legal community. He trained in the classroom first, earning a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma Christian University of Science & Arts in 1986 and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1989. Those credentials set the stage for a long career practicing under Oklahoma law.
After law school, Maxcey established his practice in Oklahoma. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and of the Pittsburg County Bar Association, and those memberships reflect steady engagement with the state and local bar communities. Over time he has built a practice that serves clients in the region and draws on an understanding of state procedures and local court practices.
Maxcey’s work is rooted in state-level matters. He represents clients in Oklahoma courts and provides legal counsel on issues governed by Oklahoma statutes and precedent. He handles filings, court appearances and client counseling that arise in those matters. He practices the kind of day-to-day lawyering that rural and small-town clients often rely on — advising on legal options, drafting documents, and taking cases to court when necessary.
Within the local bar, Maxcey remains an active participant. His membership in the Pittsburg County Bar Association keeps him tied to the bench and bar where his clients are located. He also maintains membership in the statewide Oklahoma Bar Association, which connects him to continuing education and the larger legal network across the state.
Maxcey works out of Stipe Law Office. He brings the background of his Texas Tech law training and his years in Oklahoma practice to each matter he accepts. Colleagues and clients see him as a steady presence in local legal circles, handling practical legal problems for individuals and businesses. He currently practices at Stipe Law Office and focuses on representing clients in Oklahoma state courts and providing counsel on state-law matters.
