About Blake E

Blake E Lynch grew up studying communication and politics before turning to law. He earned a B.S. in Communication and Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 and completed his J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2009. Those years in Norman set the foundation for a career that moves between courtrooms and small‑town civic service.

He began his legal career as an intern in 2008 at the Administrative Office of the Courts. That role gave him early exposure to court administration and the mechanics of the state system. After law school he joined Pat Layden Law Office, PC as an associate in 2009. He spent the early years of practice learning litigation and client work at the firm level before taking on a public role in 2012 as a judge for the Town of Dewar.

The judgeship in Dewar was brief but revealing. It put him behind the bench and in the center of municipal disputes and day‑to‑day town governance. The next year he entered private leadership. In 2013 he became a senior partner at Wagner & Lynch. That move marked a transition from associate and part‑time public service to a leadership role in a regional law firm.

Lynch’s resume shows a mix of public and private practice. He has experience in court settings from his internship and later roles, and he has handled client matters as both an associate and a partner. The town judgeship added municipal responsibilities to that list. On the professional side, he has been active in local bar organizations. He has been a member of the Pittsburg County Bar Association since 2009 and joined the OBA Young Lawyers Division in 2012.

Licensed to practice in Oklahoma, Lynch has maintained ties to the communities where he works. He practices out of Wagner & Lynch’s McAlester and Wilburton offices. Colleagues and clients see him as someone who bridges courtroom experience and municipal service, applying both to the issues that come through his doors.

Today he remains at Wagner & Lynch, practicing from the firm’s McAlester and Wilburton offices and handling matters across Oklahoma.
