Thua G. Barlay is a partner at Lueder, Larkin & Hunter LLC, where he oversees the firm's Conyers and Covington offices in Georgia. His role involves co-managing the Estate Planning and Probate group, with a strong focus on estate planning, wills, trusts, and real estate closings. A native of Monrovia, Liberia, Barlay has deep family roots in Sierra Leone, which enriches his understanding of diverse cultural perspectives in his legal practice. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2002, laying a solid foundation for his legal career.
In addition to his law degree, Barlay holds an MBA in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, which he obtained to enhance his understanding of the financial aspects of legal transactions. He also earned a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University School of Engineering & Technology in Indianapolis. Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2003, Barlay is authorized to practice in all Georgia state and superior courts. This lets the attorney represent clients across many legal matters.
