About Thomas

Thomas Little practices law in Texas. His path to the bar passed through military service and corporate consulting before he earned a law degree.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University, completed in 1996. He returned to Texas A&M for graduate study and received an MBA in 2005, with a specialization in international business. He later attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and earned his J.D. in 2013.

Little’s early career began in the U.S. Army. He served as an infantryman in 1998 and as an armor officer in 1999. Those years in uniform gave him exposure to organizational structure, discipline and the logistics of large operations. They also shaped how he approaches complex problems.

After leaving active service, Little moved into management consulting. He worked as a senior consultant at BearingPoint, Inc. in 2006 and later held a senior consultant role at Deloitte Consulting in 2009. In those positions he advised clients on business processes, program management and operational improvements. The consulting work put him on projects that required translating strategic goals into practical steps and managing cross-functional teams.

He shifted to law after those stints in business and consulting. Law school added legal training to the operational and business background he had already built. That combination informs his practical approach to client matters, connecting legal analysis to commercial realities.

In practice, Little attends to matters that sit at the intersection of business and government activity. He handles transactional work, contract issues and procurement matters. His experience in consulting and the military gives him familiarity with the procurement lifecycle and the contractual frameworks that govern government and defense-related work.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and pragmatic. He tends to break complex problems into discrete steps, then address each piece. He can move from high-level strategy to the detailed terms of a contract without losing sight of the commercial outcome.

He practices law in Texas and serves corporate clients, government contractors and public entities. He currently concentrates on business transactions, contract and procurement matters in the Texas jurisdiction.
