About Thomas J.

Thomas J. Warren is an attorney whose career traces back to Rutgers. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, New Brunswick/Piscataway in 1970 and completed his Juris Doctor at Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 1973. Those academic years laid the foundation for a long practice in New Jersey.

After law school he entered the legal profession in the state and has maintained his practice there for decades. Records list him as authorized to practice in New Jersey. Over time his work has been shaped by the particular demands of state court practice and the local bar culture. He has seen the courts and laws evolve and adapted his practice accordingly.

Warren’s career spans more than five decades, a length of time that covers major changes in the legal landscape. He began practicing at a moment when legal research relied heavily on print and office routines were far different than they are now. He experienced the shift to digital research, electronic filing and other procedural changes that have altered daily life for litigators and counsel. That long view informs how he evaluates cases and counsels clients.

Colleagues and clients have relied on his steady presence in the New Jersey legal community. He has worked with individuals and businesses that brought matters before state courts and administrative bodies. His practice has required attention to procedural detail, a command of local rules and the ability to manage cases through pretrial stages and, where necessary, trial.

Warren’s educational background at Rutgers is a throughline in his professional identity. Both his undergraduate degree and his law degree come from the university’s New Jersey campuses. Those years established connections that carried into his early professional life and helped him build a practice rooted in the state where he trained.

Even after a career measured in decades, Warren remains active in practice. He continues to represent clients in New Jersey matters, drawing on years of courtroom experience and familiarity with the state’s judicial system. He currently practices law in New Jersey.
