Mr. Hamilton earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in 1977. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at La Sierra College, receiving an A.B. in 1965. He furthered his studies at the University of California at Riverside, obtaining a Master of Arts in French in 1967 and completing Ph.D. coursework in 1968.
Mr. Hamilton's practice areas include arbitration and mediation, bankruptcy, criminal law, divorce, education law, elder law, estate planning, family law, juvenile law, and workers' compensation. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and premises liability claims. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Riverside for five years.
Mr. Hamilton is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the California Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Hamilton is fluent in English and French, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Bernardino County effectively.
