About Thomas G.

Thomas G. Parisot has spent decades practicing law in Connecticut. He is a familiar figure in state bar circles and in the offices of Secor Cassidy & McPartland, where he works from both the firm’s primary location and its Southbury office.

He earned a B.S. from the University of Scranton in 1978. He completed his legal studies at Western New England University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1981. Those qualifications set the stage for a long career anchored in Connecticut’s legal community.

Parisot’s involvement in professional organizations has been steady and sustained. He is a James W. Cooper Life Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Association. He joined the Connecticut State Bar’s House of Delegates in 2010 and continues to serve in that body. From 2010 to 2013 he was a member of the Connecticut State Bar Board of Governors. These roles placed him in the center of debates about practice standards and bar governance over the past decade and more.

At Secor Cassidy & McPartland PC he has been part of a team that serves individuals and businesses across the state. He practices from the firm’s main office and at the Southbury location, meeting clients where they are and handling matters that require local knowledge of Connecticut law. His colleagues describe him as steady and practical; peers have noted his willingness to engage in bar governance alongside regular practice duties.

Parisot’s professional life is as much about institutional work as it is about client matters. His time on the Board of Governors and in the House of Delegates reflects an interest in how the profession organizes itself and how rules affect day-to-day practice. Those experiences have informed how he approaches legal problems, particularly in situations that raise ethical or procedural questions.

Outside formal bar roles, Parisot remains connected to the community of lawyers in Connecticut. He continues to attend bar meetings and contributes to discussions about the future of practice in the state. He is based at Secor Cassidy & McPartland’s offices and is available to clients through the firm’s main and Southbury locations. He practices law in Connecticut from Secor Cassidy & McPartland's offices, serving clients across the state.
