About Bryan
Bryan McEntee trained first in the social sciences and later in law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, completing that degree in 2003. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Criminal Justice at Central Connecticut State University in 2005, and received his Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law in 2008. Those academic steps map a path from behavioral study to courtroom practice.
Early in his legal education McEntee sought hands-on experience. In 2006 he worked as a legal intern at the Waterbury State's Lawyer's Office, where he was exposed to the day-to-day tasks of public practice. In 2008 he served as a judicial intern in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, assisting in the Lawrence and Lowell District Courts. These internships gave him a practical view of both prosecution and the workings of the trial bench.
After completing law school he opened a private practice. In 2009 he began practicing under the Law Office of Bryan McEntee. That move established his role as a solo practitioner and placed him back in Connecticut. Over time his work has been shaped by study in psychology and criminal justice, a background that informs client interviews, case assessment and courtroom demeanor.
McEntee is admitted to practice in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and he also holds admission to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. He maintains memberships in local and state bar groups, including the Waterbury Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association. Those ties keep him connected to the professional community and aware of developments in state and federal practice.
His career mixes courtroom exposure and private practice management. The internships and the early years in the trial courts influenced how he approaches litigation and client communication. He has handled matters across multiple jurisdictions and is familiar with the procedural demands that come with state and federal filings.
McEntee continues to run his law office in Connecticut. He represents clients in matters brought in Connecticut and Massachusetts and holds the credentials to appear before the nation’s highest court. He currently practices through the Law Office of Bryan McEntee, representing clients in Connecticut, Massachusetts and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
