About Theresa
Theresa Ringle is an Indiana-licensed attorney whose background spans both law and the built environment. Early in her professional life she earned registration as an architect in Indiana in 1996 (NCARB Certificate 9600159). That architectural registration is presently inactive, but it continues to shape her approach to disputes and contracts that touch design and construction.
Her career bridges two professions. She moved from architectural practice into the legal arena and now practices in Indiana. She has been active in both legal and industry organizations for years. She holds memberships in the American Bar Association and its Forum on the Construction Industry since 2000, and she belongs to the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association. On the architecture side, she is an allied member of the American Institute of Architects since 2010 and previously held AIA membership from 1993 to 1997.
Ringle also serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, a role she has held since 2007. That work has her frequently handling alternative dispute resolution processes, especially where technical construction and design issues are involved. Her dual background gives her an ability to read architectural documents and construction contracts in ways that many litigators cannot.
Her legal practice centers on contracts and litigation. She represents clients in disputes that arise from construction, design, environmental compliance, energy projects, and insurance claims tied to those sectors. She handles pre-litigation negotiations, contract drafting and review, and courtroom work when matters proceed to trial. She also draws on arbitration experience when parties choose private dispute resolution.
Ringle practices at Ringle Law Group, LLC, where she handles matters for owners, contractors, design professionals, and insurers. Colleagues describe her as practical and detail-oriented in litigation settings, and she often works on cases that require both legal and technical analysis.
She maintains memberships across bar and industry groups and continues to serve as an AAA arbitrator. She currently concentrates her practice on contracts and litigation for clients in the construction, design, environmental, energy, and insurance industries.
