About Thaddeus
Thaddeus Iwuji built his legal foundation at Baylor University, where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. He moved on to earn a Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2003. Several years later he returned to study, completing an LL.M. at Southern Methodist University in 2009.
After law school he entered practice in Texas. He became a partner at Burns Iwuji, PLLC in 2011, a role he continues to hold. Over time his work has combined courtroom experience and transactional matters. That mix shaped the practical approach he brings to each file.
Iwuji’s professional affiliations trace a steady engagement with the bar and his alma mater. He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 2004 and has maintained ties to the Baylor Alumni Association since graduating in 2000. Records indicate involvement with the College of the State Bar of Texas beginning in 2010, and a continuing membership from 2011 onward.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in courtroom settings. He has handled matters that require careful document review as well as occasions that demand quick strategic decisions. His legal work has required coordination with clients, opposing counsel, and courts across Texas. He practices under the laws and procedures of that state.
In office he manages client intake, case strategy, and trial preparation. He also supervises other lawyers and staff at Burns Iwuji, PLLC. The firm address and office locations are part of the firm’s public profile.
Outside litigation he has participated in continuing legal education through bar-related programs. His memberships suggest an ongoing interest in professional development and maintaining connections within the Texas legal community.
He has not been publicly noted here for academic posts or bar leadership roles beyond his memberships. Nor are specific published works or landmark cases listed in available records.
Today he continues to practice through Burns Iwuji, PLLC in Texas. He handles civil litigation, business disputes and regulatory matters from the firm’s offices in the state.
