About Clinton
Clinton Prospere is an attorney admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Texas. He earned his J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law after completing a B.A. in International Relations at Boston University. Those academic steps framed an interest in how law intersects with institutions and public policy.
He began his legal career in the Connecticut courts. In 2018 he served as a judicial law clerk at the Connecticut Superior Court. Two years later he joined the Connecticut Appellate Court as a judicial law clerk, a role that exposed him to appellate procedures and the mechanics of written opinions. Those clerkships gave him extended experience in legal research, brief preparation and court procedure.
After leaving the bench, Prospere moved into private practice. He worked as a litigation associate at Hemenway & Barnes LLP in 2021, where he handled trial-level matters and assisted in appellate filings. The position placed him in the trenches of civil litigation work, from drafting motions to participating in client strategy sessions. In 2024 he became a senior associate lawyer at Sul Lee Law Office, PLLC. That move marked a shift from firm associate to a role with greater responsibility for case management and client contact.
Throughout his career he has worked on matters that cross trial and appellate lines. His background includes preparing pleadings and appellate briefs, producing research memoranda, and supporting courtroom presentations. The combination of state superior court and appellate clerkships, followed by private practice, produced familiarity with both trial practice and the distinct demands of appeals.
Prospere maintains bar memberships in two states and has practiced in multiple jurisdictions. He balances courtroom work and written advocacy, often handling the procedural and substantive tasks that move cases forward. Colleagues describe him as methodical in legal analysis and practical in resolving litigation issues.
He currently practices at Sul Lee Law Office, PLLC, and his work focuses on litigation across Massachusetts and Texas.
