About Tedra L.
Tedra L. Cannella earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Georgia School of Law in 2007. She left law school at a time when the legal market was shifting. That year marked the transition from classroom to courtroom for many new lawyers. For Cannella, it supplied the foundation for a sustained career in private practice.
Her early years after graduation involved standard steps that many bar entrants take: sitting for the bar, joining professional groups and beginning to handle client matters. Over time she built a practice and a professional network. She has maintained active membership in professional organizations and has continued to engage with peers and colleagues across the state.
Colleagues describe her workstyle as hands-on. She attends to the details of cases and client matters and manages the practical demands of litigation and transactional work as they arise. That practical emphasis shows in how she prepares files, coordinates with experts and communicates with clients. She handles filings, negotiations and courtroom appearances where necessary, while overseeing the administrative side of practice.
Cannella later became part of Cannella Snyder LLC, where she is a principal. In that role she handles client intake, case strategy and the daily operations that keep a small firm running. She also mentors newer attorneys and staff, passing on procedural knowledge about case management and client communication. Her role at the firm requires juggling client work with managerial responsibilities, a rhythm she has maintained for years.
Outside the office she participates in the professional life of the bar and local legal community. She attends meetings, contributes to firm planning and stays current on practice developments. Those activities help inform how she advises clients and how the firm adapts to changes in law and procedure.
As of 2026 she continues to practice at Cannella Snyder LLC and concentrates her efforts on representing clients and managing firm matters in a private practice setting.
