About Teddy

Teddy Chadwick trained for the law on the West Coast. He earned a B.A. in Political Science, Business and Economics from the University of Southern California in 2002. He then went on to the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, where he received his J.D. in 2006 and studied criminal law while in school.

His early legal work included a stint at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in 2009. That year in public service gave him firsthand experience inside a prosecutor’s office and a close view of courtroom practice. He moved into private practice the next year as an associate at Erickson Law Office in 2010. The shift followed a pattern common to many lawyers who alternate between public and private roles to round out courtroom and case-management skills.

In 2011 he was a partner at Chadwick, Hwu & Huang, LLP. Around the same time he served as an alumni advisor to his college fraternity, Theta Xi, from 2011 to 2013. He later joined the Grzeca Law Group as an associate in 2014. Those roles covered a range of functions in boutique firm settings, from litigation tasks to client counseling and case preparation.

Professional affiliations give a fuller picture of his practice interests. He became a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2013 and remains a member. Earlier, he held a membership with the Beverly Hills Bar Association from 2010 to 2011. The mix of bar association activity and an ongoing AILA membership suggests an engagement with immigration law alongside criminal matters.

Colleagues and former supervisors describe him as someone who moves between the courtroom and the office with equal attention to detail. He has experience on both sides of criminal cases, having worked in a prosecutor’s office and later handling matters in private practice. His academic background in political science, business and economics informs how he approaches case strategy and client counseling.

He practices in California and draws on years of courtroom exposure and private-firm work. Today he combines that background into a practice that addresses criminal cases and immigration-related matters in the state of California.
