About Taylor M
Taylor M Mohr grew up studying history and religion before turning his attention to the law. He finished his undergraduate work at Baylor University in 2006, earning a B.A. in History and Religion. He stayed in Waco for law school and received his J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2009. Those years shaped the early contours of a career that moves between courtroom work, transactional trust matters, and government service.
Mohr's career began in judicial and federal settings. In 2010 he served as a clerk to Judge Walter Smith, and the following year he worked as a clerk in the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Those positions gave him exposure to litigation procedure and federal practice. In 2012 he moved into trust administration at Wells Fargo, gaining hands-on experience with estate administration and fiduciary duties.
Also in 2012 Mohr launched his own practice, listing himself as owner and lawyer of the Law Office of Taylor Mohr. That same year he joined Zinda & Davis, PLLC as an associate, and later moved to Hammerle Finley Law Office in 2015. He took an of-counsel role with McCathern Law in 2018. The sequence shows a practitioner who has combined solo practice, firm-side associate work, and advisory roles in larger organizations.
His work history reflects a mix of civil litigation and trust-and-estate matters. The trust administrator position at Wells Fargo and his membership in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys point to sustained engagement with elder law and fiduciary issues. At the same time, membership in local and county bar associations and an early clerkship at the Department of Veterans Affairs indicate familiarity with administrative and veteran-related claims.
Mohr has been active in bar life across the Dallas and Denton communities. He joined the Texas State Bar Association and the Baylor Law Alumni Association in 2012, and has held memberships in the Dallas County Bar Association, Denton County Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers since 2015. Earlier affiliations include the Williamson County Bar Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Peers and clients will find an attorney whose path crosses public service and private practice. His résumé shows continuity in trust administration and elder-law circles, paired with courtroom experience and federal clerkships. He maintains his practice through the Law Office of Taylor Mohr and continues to handle matters related to estates, trusts, and elder-law issues in Texas.
He currently practices in Texas, focusing on estates, trusts, and elder-law matters.
