Tate R. Lounsbery is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2005 and holds bar number 240811. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Lounsbery is the owner of Lounsbery Law Office, PC, a law firm located in El Cajon, California. He has been practicing law for over 19 years, serving clients throughout San Diego County and the surrounding areas.

Mr. Lounsbery earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2005. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. During his time at the University of San Diego, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in the field of law.

Mr. Lounsbery concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, juvenile law, and administrative law. He represents individuals in matters involving criminal appeals, drug crimes, expungement, fraud, gun crimes, internet crimes, sex crimes, theft, and violent crimes. Additionally, he represents clients in Child Abuse Central Index (CACI) grievance proceedings throughout California.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lounsbery has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. He has also appeared before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at a mid-size litigation firm in San Diego for several years, gaining extensive experience in criminal defense and administrative law.

Mr. Lounsbery is an active member of the California DUI Lawyers Association, the California Public Defenders Association, and the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association. He is also a member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society. He holds certifications in Forensic Sobriety Assessment and DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Mr. Lounsbery is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
