About Tara

Tara Jorfald earned her law degree from the University of Denver, receiving her J.D. in 2013. She attended the law school at a time of steady change in legal education and left with the credentials to practice in Colorado. Her academic record at Denver provided the foundation for a quick move into practice after graduation.

She began her legal career as an associate at The Noble Law Office in 2013. In that role she handled a range of day-to-day responsibilities typical of an early-career associate: client interviews, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and appearing in hearings alongside more senior attorneys. The position gave her experience in courtroom procedure and client counseling and helped build practical skills that carried forward as she developed her own practice.

Outside the office she has been involved in professional circles since early in her career. She joined CJDC in 2014 and has maintained membership there. That connection has kept her engaged with ongoing developments in the local legal community and provided regular opportunities for training and collaboration with other Colorado practitioners.

Her professional path has been rooted in Colorado practice. She is admitted to the bar in Colorado and has spent her career working on matters that arise under state law. After her time at The Noble Law Office she established a professional office under her own name, where she handles cases and advises clients locally.

Those who work with her describe a lawyer who applies practical experience from both firm and solo practice. Her background includes courtroom appearances and client representation across a range of common state-court matters. She balances written advocacy and in-person hearings and draws on nearly a decade of post-law school practice in Colorado.

She maintains an office in Colorado and is active in the legal community through her ongoing CJDC membership. Her current practice centers on serving clients in Colorado courts and advising them on matters that arise under state law.
