Brandon has a strong academic heritage, having received a Bachelors of Computer Science and a Bachelors of Mathematics from Gardner-Webb University in 2003, graduating magna cum laude. During his time at Gardner-Webb, Brandon held management positions in both the SIGMA Math Association and the Association for Computing Machinery.

In 2006, Brandon was presented a full scholarship to attend Campbell University’s Norman A. Wiggins School of Law, wherein he graduated cum laude along with his Juris Doctor diploma in 2009. During his time in regulation faculty, Brandon served because the Technology Editor of the Campbell Law Review, showcasing his understanding in the field.

Before pursuing a career in law, Brandon, a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, worked within the generation enterprise for over fifteen years as a software engineer and widespread contractor. Despite his busy schedule, Brandon constantly makes time for his four youngsters and enjoys conducting various sports together with cycling, pictures, piano, SCUBA diving, programming, and spending first-class time together with his children.
