About Syndel Lisette

Syndel Lisette Knoll built a legal path that moves from campus stages to courtrooms. She arrived at law after studying sociology and dance, then finished law school in Los Angeles. Her career blends courtroom practice, bar and community involvement, and steady work on issues that touch everyday lives.

Knoll earned a B.A. in sociology and dance from Loyola Marymount University in 2014. She stayed in Los Angeles for law school and received her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2017. Those academic years left her with a mix of analytical training and an ability to read people—skills that show up in her practice.

After law school she joined Knoll Law Group as a lawyer. She is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Early in her post-law-school years she engaged with the Los Angeles legal community. In 2018 she was part of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession. The committee work put her in conversation with judges, firm leaders and in-house counsel about barriers and opportunities for women lawyers.

Her professional memberships include the California Employment Lawyers Association and the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. Those affiliations indicate the circles where she spends professional time—forums where employment and consumer law are regular subjects of discussion and training. She has used those forums to stay current on litigation strategies and evolving case law.

Colleagues describe Knoll as attentive to factual detail and to client concerns. She draws on her sociological training to frame disputes in human terms and on her courtroom experience to shape practical resolutions. Her practice at Knoll Law Group has involved litigation and client counseling. She handles filings in state courts and in the federal court that covers the Los Angeles area.

Outside of court she remains active in local bar activities and professional associations. That participation keeps her connected to developments in employment and consumer practice and to a network of trial lawyers and advocates in Los Angeles. She continues to practice at Knoll Law Group, representing clients in matters arising under California law and in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, with a practice that centers on employment and consumer matters.
