About Sunny S.

Sunny S. Sarkis took a traditional route into law. She read political theory and practice at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a B.A. in Political Science. She then moved to Sacramento for law school and received her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Her early professional steps are marked by practical legal work rather than headline cases. After law school she qualified to practice in both California and Washington. That dual admission has shaped how she approaches client matters, allowing her to advise on issues that cross state lines and to litigate where necessary in either jurisdiction.

Colleagues describe Sarkis as methodical. She lays out problems clearly and breaks them down into manageable tasks. She is comfortable in courtrooms and boardrooms, and she has handled matters that require both procedural precision and plainspoken explanations to clients. Her work shows attention to statutory detail and an emphasis on preparing a case from start to finish.

Sarkis's background in political science informs her analysis of regulatory and statutory questions. She pays close attention to how policy and law intersect. That perspective often proves useful when cases touch on administrative rules or when clients must weigh legal risk against business considerations. She prefers to give clients direct assessments rather than long, hedged opinions.

She joined Wilshire Law Office, where she practices today. At the firm she coordinates work that spans her two licensed states. Her files often include litigation, transactional matters and counseling that require coordinating filings, appearances and compliance across jurisdictions. Clients come to her for clear direction and practical next steps rather than abstract theory.

Outside of casework, Sarkis maintains ties to the legal community that taught her. She remains connected to alumni networks from both UC Berkeley and McGeorge, and she keeps current on developments in state law that affect her clients. Her colleagues say she is steady under pressure and persistent in seeing matters through to resolution.

She currently practices at Wilshire Law Office, handling matters across both Washington and California.
