About Steven
Steven Kramer built his legal foundation at the University of Florida, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and a Juris Doctor in 1999. He returned to the university soon after to deepen his training in intellectual property, completing a Certificate in Intellectual Property in 2002. Those academic credentials anchor a career that combines litigation, counseling and community service.
Early in his career Kramer became active in local bar leadership. He co-founded the Seminole County Young Lawyers Division and served as a director from 2006 to 2009. He moved through leadership roles in the county bar, serving as president of the Seminole County Bar Association from 2009 to 2010, and then taking on responsibilities at the Seminole County Legal Aid Society, where he was director beginning in 2009 and served as president from 2010 to 2011. His record in voluntary bar and legal aid work shows sustained engagement with access-to-justice and professional governance issues.
Kramer’s service expanded beyond the county level. He has held membership in the Florida Council of Bar Association Presidents since 2010. Since 2011 he has occupied roles in statewide forums: he is listed as president of the Williams Inns of Court and serves on the Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice’s Pro Bono Advisory Committee. Those positions involve coordination with judges and fellow lawyers on ethics, mentoring and pro bono policies.
On the practice side Kramer’s training in intellectual property informs the work he does for clients. He handles matters in intellectual property, entertainment, antitrust, trademarks and trade secrets. That work spans counseling and dispute resolution. He advises on protection strategies and also appears in cases that raise licensing and competitive issues.
Colleagues and clients encounter Kramer in several Florida offices. He maintains a presence in Tampa, an Altamonte Springs law office and a downtown Orlando office. Those locations reflect a practice that serves both central Florida businesses and individuals with IP and entertainment-related needs.
Throughout his career Kramer has combined practice responsibilities with organizational leadership. He has remained involved in local civic and legal institutions while participating in statewide bar activities. He continues to serve on pro bono and professional committees that shape practice standards and access to legal services in Florida.
He currently practices intellectual property, entertainment, antitrust, trademark and trade secret matters from offices in Tampa, Altamonte Springs and downtown Orlando.
