About Steven

Steven Jensen earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2010 after beginning law studies in 2007. He completed the customary three-year course of study and entered the bar exam cycle that followed. His time at Texas Tech placed him in a cohort that combined classroom study with practical opportunities, and he left law school prepared to enter practice.

He began his legal career in 2010 at Siegfried & Jensen. Listed as a lawyer there, he handled a variety of tasks common to a small firm environment: drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, advising clients and appearing in hearings. Those early years were a practical education in case management and client communication. The firm setting required a mix of litigation readiness and the ability to explain legal options to people who were often facing stressful decisions.

Over the course of his practice he developed experience in both courtroom and transactional work. Much of that work involved courtroom preparation, settlement discussions and document drafting. He spent time negotiating on behalf of clients and preparing cases for trial. That combination of responsibilities gave him a steady exposure to the procedural and substantive demands of civil practice.

At a point after his tenure at Siegfried & Jensen he moved his practice to Jensen Law. The office operates under that name and serves clients from a local base. At Jensen Law he continues to handle matters that require direct client contact, legal research, and courtroom representation when necessary. Colleagues and clients describe him as someone who prefers clear explanations and practical next steps rather than legal jargon.

Jensen’s work reflects a conventional path through law school to firm practice and then to a smaller, independent office. He has maintained a steady caseload and has continued to advise clients on strategy, compliance and dispute resolution. Outside the office he takes a methodical approach to case preparation, often emphasizing document review and witness preparation when a matter moves toward trial.

As of 2026 he practices under the Jensen Law name and continues to represent individuals and businesses in matters that require hands-on attention and courtroom readiness. He focuses his current practice on providing direct client representation and litigation services.
