About Steven

Steven Glista earned his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2006. He moved from the classroom to courtrooms and conference rooms, building a practice that spans two states. His education at Oregon prepared him for work in jurisdictions that require both legal knowledge and practical judgment.

After graduating, Glista entered private practice and over time qualified to practice in both Michigan and Oregon. He has handled matters that cross state lines and has worked with clients who operate in multi-jurisdictional environments. Those experiences shaped a pragmatic approach to problem solving and a preference for clear, efficient communication.

Glista has been involved in professional associations since 2009. He has participated in continuing legal education and peer discussions. Those activities have kept him current on changes in statutes and procedure in the jurisdictions where he is licensed.

His career includes work at larger firm settings and in roles that require coordination among teams of lawyers. Glista joined Dickinson Wright PLLC, where he practices alongside colleagues in different offices. At Dickinson Wright he has worked on matters that require careful attention to procedural rules and strategic planning across jurisdictions.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and focused on outcomes that match client goals. He approaches each file by identifying key issues early and then moving toward resolution. That style suits clients who need responsive legal counsel and clear, practical advice.

Outside the office, Glista has continued to follow developments in the law and to contribute to professional conversations. He has kept an active role in continuing education and in mentoring newer attorneys within firm settings. Those efforts reinforce his day-to-day work and inform how he handles complex matters.

He currently practices at Dickinson Wright PLLC, representing clients on matters that arise in Michigan and Oregon.
