About Steven Alexander
Steven Alexander Culbreath earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1998 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science and international affairs at the University of South Florida in 1996. He returned to the classroom later in his career and completed a cybersecurity certification at St. Petersburg College in 2019, a credential that reflects a broader interest in technology and privacy issues alongside traditional legal practice.
He is licensed to practice in Florida and has held several professional registrations and memberships that sit outside the courtroom. He became a Florida Notary Public in 2004 and holds a sales associate license from the Florida Real Estate Commission, issued in 2014. That same year he taught as an adjunct professor in the Paralegal Studies program at St. Petersburg College. He has been involved in professional associations for many years, including membership in the American Immigration Lawyers Association dating to the mid-2000s and ongoing membership in the National Association of Realtors since 2014.
Culbreath’s career combines litigation training, classroom instruction, and regulatory credentials. His J.D. provided the foundation for practice in state courts and administrative forums. The notary and real estate licenses positioned him to advise on transactional matters and closing procedures. Teaching paralegal students also kept him close to evolving practice mechanics and the paperwork that drives many client matters.
His cybersecurity coursework marks a more recent broadening of interests. That training has informed how he approaches issues of client confidentiality, document handling, and electronic recordkeeping. It also complements responsibilities that arise in real estate closings and immigration filings, where secure handling of personal information is central.
People who have worked with him describe a practitioner who moves between client counseling, classroom work, and regulatory compliance tasks. He has maintained professional memberships that align with those activities, including long-term involvement in immigration law circles and participation in realtor networks. He is active in the Florida professional community and in roles that intersect law, real estate, and notarial practice.
Culbreath currently practices in Florida, handling matters that include immigration law, real estate transactions, notarial services, and issues involving cybersecurity and privacy in client files.
