About Stephen

Stephen Lebedevitch built his academic foundation in political science before turning to the law. He earned a B.A. in political science from Providence College in 2006 and followed that with an M.A. in political science from Southern Connecticut State University in 2007. He completed his legal training at Florida Coastal School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2011.

Those degrees shape how he thinks about cases. The political science training informs his reading of statutes and rules. The law degree provided the practical tools to test those readings in court.

Lebedevitch is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is also admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court. Those credentials allow him to appear in state courts and to file matters that reach the federal level.

In 2020 he founded The Lebedevitch Law Office, LLC and serves as its owner. He started the firm after years of work that prepared him to manage client matters and law office operations. At the firm he handles client intake, case development and the day-to-day decision making that small firm practice requires.

His work leans on courtroom procedure and written advocacy. He prepares pleadings and motions, manages discovery, and presents arguments in hearings. He also handles filings and paperwork necessary to pursue cases through state and federal channels. Clients working with him encounter a lawyer who combines courtroom experience with an academic background in political structures and public affairs.

Colleagues and clients note his steady approach to casework. He favors clear explanations over legalese. He breaks complex problems into steps. He prioritizes practical outcomes and tries to map a path through procedural requirements. That practical orientation is consistent across the matters his office accepts.

Outside the office he stays connected to legal developments that affect practice in Connecticut and federal jurisdictions. He monitors changes in case law and court procedure and adapts his practice as rules evolve.

He runs The Lebedevitch Law Office, LLC from its Connecticut base and continues to accept matters that arise in state and federal courts. His current practice focuses on representing clients in Connecticut matters and handling filings in federal courts.
