About Stacey Feeley
Stacey Feeley Cavanagh earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1995 after completing a B.A. in English at Boston College in 1992. Her legal education combined a liberal arts grounding with three years of law study in Chicago. The chronology of degrees shaped an approach that values clear writing and close analysis.
She built her career in Illinois. After law school she entered practice in the state and over time assumed increasing responsibility on complex matters. She is a partner at Cavanagh Law Group, where she shares management duties and client work. Her role at the firm encompasses case strategy, client counseling and the day-to-day demands of running a small firm.
Her professional memberships include the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Women’s Bar Association. She maintains those memberships while practicing in Illinois.
