About Stacey

Stacey Bartlett attended Stetson University College of Law after completing a B.A. at the University of South Florida. Those classroom years set out the legal framework she would return to again and again in practice.

Before entering private practice, Bartlett spent years in the corporate world. In 2007 she joined Tech Data Corporation as Manager of Contracts Negotiation. The job placed her in the middle of complex vendor and customer arrangements. It also gave her daily experience drafting, revising and negotiating contract language for technology transactions.

In 2017 she began practicing under the Bartlett Law Offices name. That move shifted her day-to-day from in-house negotiations to serving individual and business clients. Her background in contract work remains a throughline. Clients see an attorney who understands both the commercial and the practical sides of written agreements.

Bartlett maintains professional ties across the state. She holds membership in The Florida Bar and participates in the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Locally she is active in the Pinellas County Chamber of Commerce. She also lists affiliation with the Golden Key National Honor Society from her earlier academic career. Those connections shape her calendar and inform the network she brings to client matters.

Her practice blends elements of transactional work and client counseling. The path from a corporate contracts role to a small firm practice means Bartlett often handles contract review and negotiation, business-related documentation and disputes that flow from agreements. She approaches each file by parsing the language and assessing what a reasonable outcome would look like for the client.

Colleagues and clients describe her work style as methodical and direct. She adopts a clear, plain-language approach to contracts and explains options without legalese. That emphasis on clarity is apparent in how she prepares clients for negotiations and in written drafts she produces for review.

Outside the office Bartlett keeps ties to the local business community through the chamber and participates in professional associations that reflect her training and interests. She continues to maintain an active membership in The Florida Bar and practices law in Florida. Currently she operates Bartlett Law Offices, LLC, handling contract and business-related legal matters for clients in the region.
