About Clementine
Clementine Conde built a legal path that began in classrooms and moved quickly into courtrooms. She earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Miami in 1988 and completed her J.D. at Western New England University School of Law in 1991. Those years set the stage for a career rooted in criminal law and public service.
Her first post-law school role was a judicial clerkship in the Miami-Dade 11th Judicial Circuit Court in 1992. That experience offered an inside view of courtroom procedure and case management. A year later she joined the Office of the Public Defender as an assistant public defender, where she handled a steady docket of criminal matters. Those early years sharpened her courtroom skills and shaped her approach to defense work.
Conde balanced practice with teaching and civic engagement. In 2000 she served as an adjunct instructor at Pasco Hernando State College, bringing practical courtroom experience into the classroom. She also became active in local and state bar groups. She was a member of the West Pasco Bar Association from 2006 through 2018 and joined the Clearwater Bar Association in 2010, remaining listed there through 2018. Her peers elected her president of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for the 2017–2018 term, a role that placed her in the company of other defense attorneys across the state and involved organizing educational programs and policy discussions.
After years in public defense and bar leadership, she moved into private practice. The Law Office of Clementine Conde serves as the base for her current work. Her background combines courtroom experience, trial preparation and a history of representing clients in criminal matters. Colleagues describe her as steady under pressure and deliberate in courtroom settings. Clients have come to her from a range of misdemeanor and felony matters, and she has handled arraignments, motions and trials that require both legal knowledge and practical courtroom tactics.
Over more than three decades in the law, she has maintained ties to local legal organizations while operating a solo practice. Her career threads through public defense, legal education and bar leadership. She continues to practice criminal defense and related matters at The Law Office of Clementine Conde.
