About Spencer

Spencer Browne earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame before turning to law at Southern Methodist University. Those formative years combined a broad liberal arts education with legal training in Dallas. The two schools set the tone for a career centered on courtroom work and trial preparation.

After law school Browne joined Reyes Browne Reilley Law Office and became a partner in 2009. He has spent much of his career there, building experience in litigation and representing clients in complex personal injury matters. The partner role marked a shift from junior associate tasks to leading claims and preparing cases for trial.

Browne is admitted to practice in Texas and in all four federal districts that cover the state: the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. He holds Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a credential that denotes a concentrated practice in trial work and courtroom advocacy. That certification guides how he approaches discovery, witness preparation and courtroom strategy.

Professional involvement has been a consistent part of Browne’s practice life. He maintains memberships in the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Bar Association. He is also listed with the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the American Association for Justice and the State Bar of Texas. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in trial procedure and state and federal practice standards.

Colleagues describe Browne as methodical in case preparation and assertive at trial. He spends time preparing exhibits and outlining lines of direct and cross-examination. His courtroom work involves juror engagement and careful presentation of technical evidence. Outside the courtroom he handles motions practice, depositions and settlement negotiations when they arise.

Browne’s background — Notre Dame, SMU, state and federal admissions, board certification and long tenure at Reyes Browne Reilley — reflects a law practice oriented around litigation and trials. He currently practices at Reyes Browne Reilley Law Office, where his work centers on personal injury trial litigation and related court proceedings.
