About Spencer
Spencer Aronfeld began his legal journey at the University of Miami, receiving a B.B.A. in 1984 and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1991. He later returned to skills training at the Trial Lawyers College in 1997 for trial advocacy. Those early years set a pattern of combining formal legal study with hands-on trial preparation.
Immediately after law school he founded Aronfeld Trial Lawyers, taking on the role of CEO and building the firm from its inception in 1991. Over the following decades he maintained an active trial practice and expanded the firm’s profile in civil litigation. He holds admissions to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia, and he is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.
Aronfeld’s credentials include board certifications and peer review recognition. He is board certified in civil trial law by the Florida Bar. Nationally, he holds board certifications from the National Board of Trial Advocacy in both civil trial and pretrial law. Martindale-Hubbell has listed him as AV rated. Those credentials reflect an emphasis on courtroom work and the procedural stages that precede trial.
Beyond the courtroom, Aronfeld has taken roles that extend into professional and civic networks. He is a longtime member of the American Bar Association since 1993 and has been involved with the Florida Justice Association since 1994. He belongs to the American Association for Justice Leaders Forum since 2009. He founded the Lawyers Breakfast Club (ABC) in 2009 and started Lawyers to the Rescue in 2010, both initiatives that indicate an interest in peer engagement and community-oriented activities.
His path shows repeated investment in trial craft. The Trial Lawyers College training in 1997 is one example; board certification in pretrial law underlines attention to the preparatory phases that shape outcomes. Colleagues and clients have noted his steady presence in trial dockets and his firm’s consistent handling of civil matters, rather than a turn toward transactional or corporate specialties.
Aronfeld still leads Aronfeld Trial Lawyers as CEO, overseeing litigation strategy and team development. He remains active in professional groups and continues to add to his courtroom record. He currently practices civil trial and pretrial law at Aronfeld Trial Lawyers.
