About Siri

Siri Khalsa moved from history to law over the course of a single decade. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Houston in 2002. Four years later she returned to the same campus and completed a Juris Doctor in 2006, concentrating on tax, business law and corporations. The record of her studies suggests an early interest in the legal issues that shape commercial life.

After law school Khalsa established her practice in Texas. She is admitted to practice in the state and has built a career around the subjects she studied in law school. Her background in tax and corporate law feeds into everyday work on business formation, entity choice, contract matters, and tax planning questions. She approaches problems with an eye for how legal structure affects financial and operational choices.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in research and direct in written work. She tends to break complex subjects into discrete questions. That approach is useful in areas such as corporate governance and tax compliance, where technical rules can change outcomes quickly. Khalsa also draws on her undergraduate training in history when a matter requires tracing facts and context over time.

Her practice has involved advising business owners and managers, drafting organizational documents, and addressing corporate maintenance issues. She also handles transactional work tied to mergers, asset transfers, and reorganizations. When tax matters arise, she focuses on translating statutory and regulatory language into options that business decision-makers can weigh. She does not limit herself to a single type of client; her work ranges across small and mid-sized enterprises.

Khalsa keeps a pragmatic style in client meetings. She lays out likely paths, highlights trade-offs, and flags timing concerns where they matter. She favors clear written advice and practical checklists over abstract memoranda. When an issue requires outside specialists, she coordinates with accountants and other professionals to assemble the necessary expertise.

Today she continues to practice law in Texas. Her work centers on tax, corporate and business law matters that affect the day-to-day operations and long-term plans of businesses.
