About Sidney Andrew
Sidney Andrew Roman began his legal path at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2004. He studied torts and insurance law among other subjects and remained connected to the school after graduation. In 2016 he joined the law school's Board of Advisors, a role he continues to hold.
Roman's professional life blends courtroom work, appellate practice and settlement processes. He has been listed as a mediator with Private Dispute Resolution Services since 2001 and holds mediation certification from the Florida Dispute Resolution Center. Those early years in dispute resolution ran alongside his legal training and helped shape a practice that moves between negotiation rooms and court dockets.
He founded The Law Offices of Sidney A. Roman, P.A. in 2013 and serves as its principal. The firm reflects more than a decade of post-J.D. experience and a practice built around contested matters. Roman is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, in the District of Columbia, in Florida and in multiple federal circuits, including the 7th, 8th and 9th. Those admissions indicate sustained appellate work in addition to state-court litigation.
Roman's professional affiliations track that mixture of trial and dispute-resolution interests. He has been a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association since 2019. He served on the Orange County Bar Association Foundation Board of Directors from 2018 to 2019. Those memberships have kept him involved in the local legal community and in trade groups that address litigation practice and professional standards.
