About Sheri

Sheri Tucker combines training in psychology and law in a career that spans two states. She earned an M.S. in Psychology from East Central University and then completed her J.D. at the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville in 1991. Those academic choices set a tone for work that touches on both legal detail and the human side of legal problems.

Her path into practice followed law school. She is licensed to practice in Arkansas and Missouri. Over time she has participated in professional organizations that reflect her interests and the communities she serves. She holds membership in the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the American Bar Association. In the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis she serves as Vice-Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee, a role that places her among practitioners shaping how small practices operate in the region.

Tucker’s background in psychology informs how she approaches client matters. The combination of clinical insight and legal training appears in the kinds of matters she handles and the way she communicates with clients. Her associations with NAELA and local bar leadership indicate experience with elder law, capacity issues and the practical concerns that affect older adults and their families.

She practices through Your Estate Ally. That office handles matters that are common to estate and elder law practices: planning, administration and advice tailored to family circumstances and legal requirements. Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing documents and clear when explaining options. Her role in the Solo and Small Firm Committee also suggests she stays engaged in issues that affect how independent practitioners serve clients, including practice management and professional standards.

Tucker participates in continuing education and bar activities that keep her current on changes in probate procedure and elder law policy. Those activities help her adapt tools and strategies to match legal developments and client needs. She balances technical legal work with attention to client goals and to the practical steps required to carry plans out.

She is currently practicing at Your Estate Ally and maintains active memberships in professional organizations that reflect her interests in elder law and small-firm practice. Her current practice focuses on estate planning, probate, and elder law.
