About Sharry I.
Sharry I. Sandler built a foundation in the liberal arts before turning to law and business. She graduated from Tulane University in 1996 with a double major in psychology and English. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans in 2000 and later completed an M.B.A. in business administration at Louisiana State University - University of New Orleans in 2004. The combination of humanities, law and business studies shapes how she evaluates problems and advises clients.
After earning her law degree, Sandler entered legal practice in Louisiana. The additional graduate training in business broadened her perspective on legal issues that affect individuals and organizations. Her career path led to private practice and, in 2009, she established her own office. Since then she has served as lawyer and owner of The Law Office of Sharry I. Sandler.
Running a small law office has meant managing the full lifecycle of cases and client relationships. That includes counseling clients, drafting documents, negotiating on behalf of clients and appearing for matters where necessary. She has overseen office operations and the day-to-day priorities of a solo practice. Those tasks require balancing legal analysis with practical considerations for clients’ goals and timelines.
Colleagues and clients have noted that Sandler’s background in psychology and business brings a practical frame to legal issues. She tends to approach matters by breaking them into their component parts, identifying immediate needs and laying out next steps. Her workbook includes both transactional and dispute-related tasks typical of a general practice in a state jurisdiction. She is licensed to practice in Louisiana and conducts her work from her own firm.
Outside of client work, Sandler’s training suggests an interest in the intersection of law and business. Her M.B.A. complements the legal training from Loyola and informs how she assesses contracts, business arrangements and organizational questions. Sandler continues to operate The Law Office of Sharry I. Sandler in Louisiana. She practices law through that office and represents clients across matters handled by her firm.
