About Sharrard Deshard
Sharrard Deshard Owens built his legal foundation through a steady sequence of academic credentials and early-career roles. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Texas A&M University–Prairie View A&M University in 2009. He then completed his Juris Doctor at Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2013 and added a Master of Laws in Sports Law from St. John's University School of Law in 2014.
After law school, Owens moved quickly into firm and industry roles. In 2014 he worked as an associate at Andre Evans & Associates, PLLC and served as a legal coordinator for Overtime Sports Management Group. Those early positions paired client-side sports work with day-to-day firm practice. In 2018 he took on dual roles: serving as of counsel at J.D.
