About Sean S
Sean S Chalaki built a path from technology studies to federal courtrooms and his own law firm. He earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Dallas, then turned toward law and received his J.D. from Appalachian School of Law in 2009. Those two degrees sit at the foundation of a career that moved quickly from support roles to courtroom work.
Early in his legal training Chalaki worked inside the federal system. In 2005 he completed a judicial internship in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and served as a clerk at the same court. Those experiences exposed him to motion practice, case management and the rhythms of a busy federal docket. Before law school he held event management positions in 2004 with Microsoft Corporation and Compass Bank, roles that he says taught organizational discipline and the logistics of running complex operations.
By 2010 he was practicing under the banner of Chalaki Law P.C., where he has served as president and lawyer. The firm grew from those early lessons in court procedure and office management. Chalaki’s day-to-day work mixes courtroom preparation, client counseling and trial practice. He has maintained ties to the local legal community through long-standing association memberships, which reflect steady engagement with peers and continuing legal education.
He has been a member of the American Bar Association since 2006. Local and state trial groups are part of his professional network: membership in the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers began in 2011, and he joined the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association in 2012. The Texas Trial Lawyers Association lists him as a member starting in 2011, and he has belonged to the College of the State Bar of Texas since 2014. Those affiliations indicate an ongoing interest in litigation practice and in the professional organizations that support trial attorneys.
Chalaki’s background combines technical training, early federal court exposure and private practice leadership. He manages firm responsibilities while handling litigation tasks that range from drafting pleadings to preparing witnesses. Colleagues note his steady forum experience and practical approach to casework.
He practices in Texas and continues to manage Chalaki Law P.C., concentrating his practice on trial and civil litigation matters.
