About Sean D.
Sean D. Allen earned his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2004 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside in 2002. His academic path was straightforward and practical. He entered the bar in California and later secured admission to several federal districts across the state.
He began practicing law in the mid-2000s. In 2007 he worked as a lawyer at Allen Law Corp. By 2011 he had joined SwedelsonGottlieb as a lawyer. Four years later he became a partner at Roseman Law, APC, a role he has held since 2015. The sequence of positions shows a steady rise through firms that handle association and property-related matters.
Allen is admitted to practice in California and in the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of the United States District Court for California. That range of admissions allows him to take cases in state and federal venues. It also reflects a practice that crosses courtroom settings and administrative proceedings.
Throughout his career he has maintained ties to organizations that serve community associations and their managers. He has been a member of the Community Associations Institute since 2011 and has held membership in the California Association of Community Managers over the same period. Those memberships keep him connected to developments in governance, statutory changes, and industry practice affecting shared-property communities.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparation and direct in court. He spends time drafting governing documents, advising boards, and handling disputes that arise within association communities. His background combines litigation experience and counseling. This mixture often places him in roles where legal strategy and day-to-day governance intersect.
Since becoming a partner at Roseman Law, APC in 2015, Allen has practiced out of that firm’s offices. He continues to work with boards, managers and homeowners on matters that touch association governance and enforcement. He is a regular participant in industry meetings and contributes to firm work on complex community association matters.
Currently he practices at Roseman Law, APC, representing community associations and association managers in California and in federal courts across the state.
