Scott Edward Cole is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1992 His license is currently in active status. Mr. Cole is the founder and principal attorney at Scott Cole & Associates, a law firm specializing in employment and consumer rights class action cases. The firm is located in Oakland, California, serving clients throughout the state.

Mr. Cole earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1992, where he served as President of the Labor & Employment Law Society. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at San Francisco State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications with a minor in Business Administration in 1985.

Mr. Cole concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law, consumer rights, and civil litigation. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, discrimination, and class action lawsuits. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Cole has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Alameda, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before various state courts across the nation, including those in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, and Texas. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Oakland for several years.

Mr. Cole is an active member of the California State Bar and its Labor and Employment Law Section. He holds membership in the American Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the California Employment Lawyers Association. He has served as Vice-Chair of the Alameda County Bar Association's Labor and Employment Section Executive Committee. Additionally, he is a former Series 7 Licensee with the National Association of Securities Dealers and has been involved with the Animal Legal Defense Fund and the American Synergy Center. Mr. Cole is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of California effectively.
