About Scott D.

Scott D. Perlmuter earned his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2004 after completing a bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2000. He moved from a Midwestern undergraduate program to a respected Ohio law school and began building a legal practice in the state where he is admitted.

He joined Novak Pavlik Deliberato, LLP in 2008 and spent several years there gaining trial and courtroom experience. In 2015 he left to co-found Tittle & Perlmuter. That move put him in a leadership role at a firm he helped create. Colleagues and clients have since known him as one of the attorneys shaping the firm’s litigation practice.

Perlmuter has stayed active in professional circles throughout his career. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio Association for Justice and the Ohio State Bar Association. He has also participated in the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland Volunteer Lawyers Program, taking on pro bono matters and offering time to community legal services.

His peers recognized him in Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2012 through 2016. The string of selections reflected early-career visibility in Ohio’s legal community. He continued to build a practice that centers on representing clients in state courts and handling trial work.

People who have worked with Perlmuter describe a methodical approach to litigation. He prepares cases for trial, handles hearings and files motions. He balances courtroom time with case development and client counseling. He practices in Ohio and maintains active membership in the professional organizations that serve local and statewide bar interests.

Outside the office he has remained connected to legal education and local bar activities through association work and volunteer programs. That involvement keeps him engaged with developments in state law and the procedural rules that affect litigators.

Now a co-founder at Tittle & Perlmuter, he combines earlier experience at Novak Pavlik Deliberato with the responsibilities of running a boutique firm. He continues to represent clients in Ohio’s courts and manages trial and litigation matters. He currently practices at Tittle & Perlmuter, where his practice focuses on litigation in Ohio state courts.
