About Sarah
Sarah Lowell earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2012. She completed her legal studies after three years in Seattle, joining a class that emphasized practical skills and courtroom preparation. Those formative years shaped her approach to day-to-day practice: steady, exacting, and attentive to procedure.
She moved into private practice soon after law school. In 2013 she joined Magnuson Lowell, P.S. as an associate lawyer. The position placed her in a small-firm setting where associates commonly take on a wide range of responsibilities. Early on she handled legal research, drafted motions and briefs, prepared documents for transactional matters, and assisted in client meetings and hearings.
Over the next several years Lowell built a practice grounded in Washington law. She represents clients before state tribunals and offers counsel on matters that arise under local statutes and regulations. Her work requires regular interaction with judges, opposing counsel and administrative agencies. She aims for clarity in filings and careful preparation for contested proceedings.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and pragmatic in courtroom settings. She has worked on matters that demanded close attention to procedural rules and deadlines. In the office she has taken on case management duties and coordinated with support staff to keep complex matters moving. The firm environment at Magnuson Lowell has given her exposure to both litigation and transactional tasks, and she has grown comfortable switching between research-heavy assignments and client-facing responsibilities.
Lowell continues to practice at Magnuson Lowell, PS. As of 2026 she remains licensed in Washington and focuses her practice on matters arising under state law. Her current work centers on serving the needs of clients across the firm’s practice areas within Washington state.
