About Sara

Sara Webster earned her J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 1979. She completed her legal education at a moment when criminal procedure and defendants' rights were evolving rapidly. Those early years shaped the practical approach she would take to courtroom work and bar activity over the next several decades.

Her career has been rooted in Pennsylvania. She is a long-standing member of the Pennsylvania State Bar and belongs to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She has also been active in local bar governance. From 1999 until 2016 she chaired the Criminal Law Section of the Bucks County Bar Association, a period that involved organizing bench-bar programs, CLE events, and section meetings. In 2013 she assumed the role of Past President of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a title she continues to hold.

Those leadership roles reflect steady involvement rather than short-term participation. Colleagues and peers have encountered her in committee meetings, continuing legal education panels, and regional advocacy efforts. She has spent much of her professional life in the adversarial setting of state courts, representing people accused of crimes of varying seriousness. Her courtroom work has included trials, pretrial motions, sentencing hearings, and appeals to intermediate tribunals.

Webster's practice blends litigation skills and case management. She has built a caseload that requires attention to evidentiary issues, procedural deadlines, and negotiation with prosecutors. She also supervises research and preparation for complex motions. The tone of her work is practical. She aims to move cases efficiently through the system while preserving clients' rights at each stage.

Outside of direct representation, she has contributed to the legal community through teaching and section leadership. Her years chairing a county criminal law section meant coordinating programs for younger lawyers and facilitating dialogue between prosecutors and defense counsel. That experience informed her later work at the state association level, where she engaged in broader policy and training efforts.

She maintains a private practice at Webster Law and continues to represent clients in criminal matters in Pennsylvania state courts.
