About Sara A.
Sara A. Stanley built a legal path that began in the classroom and moved steadily into courtroom work. She combined a liberal arts background with formal legal training, then settled into practice in Massachusetts. Colleagues and clients over the years have come to expect steady, clear work rather than flash.
Stanley studied political science at Haverford College, graduating in 1998. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2007. Those years of study framed a practical approach to law. Her undergraduate work emphasized public affairs and institutions, and law school sharpened the tools she now uses day to day.
After completing law school she began practicing in Massachusetts. She is admitted to practice in that jurisdiction and has built her career around state-level practice. Early in her career she handled a range of matters that required courtroom appearances, client counseling and detailed briefing. That early variety helped her develop a methodical approach to case preparation.
Stanley later joined Healey, Deshaies, Gagliardi & Woelfel, PC. At the firm she has continued to work primarily on matters that arise in Massachusetts courts. Her work there has involved litigation and the procedural elements that underpin it: pleadings, discovery, motion practice and trial preparation. She is known inside the office for steady case management and for attention to procedural detail.
Outside of firm responsibilities she has maintained ties to the professional community in the state. Those connections have supported referral work and collaborative case handling. Her practice benefits from familiarity with local court procedures and judge preferences, which she applies when advising clients and planning litigation timelines.
Stanley’s written work—briefs, motions and client correspondence—tends to be concise. She favors clear statements of fact and law, and she structures arguments so they are accessible to judges and opposing counsel alike. In hearings she presents a focused record and tracks evidentiary issues carefully.
Today she practices at Healey, Deshaies, Gagliardi & Woelfel, PC in Massachusetts. Her current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters brought in Massachusetts state courts.
