About Sandra

Sandra Gregor built a career that bridges social work and the courtroom. She entered law after a decade of study and practice that gave her a wider view of how disputes affect people and communities.

Gregor earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from the University of Mary Washington in 1991. She then completed a Master of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1995. After several years working in social services, she returned to school and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2001. That combination of social work and legal training informs how she evaluates cases and prepares for trial.

Her legal career began in private practice. She joined McGuireWoods as an associate in 2001. Four years later she became a partner at Morris & Morris, a move that expanded her responsibilities in litigation and client management. In 2013 she worked as a trial lawyer at Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen, handling contested matters in state and federal court. Over time she developed courtroom experience in both bench and jury settings.

Gregor is admitted to practice in Virginia and in several federal forums. Her admissions include the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She has been active in local and statewide bar groups. Her memberships include the Richmond Bar Association, the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Women Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice. She has also served as Chair of the Professional Liability Section of the Virginia Association of Defense Lawyers.

Colleagues describe Gregor as methodical in trial preparation. She brings the perspective of a social work background to the courtroom, often emphasizing client context alongside legal strategy. She maintains an office in Fredericksburg and continues to handle civil litigation and professional liability matters. Her current practice concentrates on litigation and courtroom advocacy.
