About Samuel E.
Samuel E. Neschis earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1991 and went on to receive his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1999. Those years framed the start of a legal career that has included practice in both state and federal courts. The combination of a Midwestern undergraduate education and an East Coast law degree shaped an early cross-jurisdictional perspective.
After law school, Neschis became active in litigation and business-related matters. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and New York, and he holds admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of Neschis & Tolitano, LLC, where he has worked on matters that proceed through trial courts and federal appellate review. His courtroom experience covers the procedural and strategic demands of multi-forum practice.
Neschis participates in bar organization work as well. He serves on the Illinois State Bar Association’s Business and Securities Law Section Council and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association. Those roles place him in regular contact with practitioners who handle corporate disputes, securities questions and commercial litigation. They also keep him engaged with developments in business law and procedural practice, including changes that affect how commercial cases are litigated in Illinois and federal venues.
At Neschis & Tolitano, LLC he continues to represent clients in matters that bring together corporate law, securities issues and litigation. His practice involves counseling clients on transactional and dispute-related topics and carrying cases through state and federal court processes. He handles filings and hearings in Illinois courts, and he also appears in federal district and appellate settings where cases require coordination across multiple forums. His current practice focuses on business and securities law and related litigation.
